You can picture the kind of account you want to create: an AI influencer sharing simple everyday outfits, perhaps, or ideas for a small home. But when you reach the description box, the idea becomes harder to explain. What does “stylish and approachable” actually look like?

The first useful step is to choose a few visible details, then see whether the generated appearance feels right for your idea. You do not have to settle an entire life story before making that choice. You need a description you can use and a clear reason to keep or revise what comes back.

Let's work through a fictional adult influencer called Mara, who will share everyday outfit ideas. We'll turn that short idea into an appearance description, enter it in Synthetic Actor and walk through a hypothetical correction before saving the chosen look.

Give your idea a visible appearance

“An approachable fashion influencer” describes an impression. It leaves the face, hair, clothing and build open. That can be useful when you want surprises, but it gives you little to compare against when the image arrives.

For Mara, choose a few features you would like to recognize again: an oval face with full eyebrows, a dark curly bob that ends at the jaw, and a medium build. Those are creative choices for this example; an outfit account could feature many different appearances. Add a simple outfit so you can see the person without elaborate styling competing for attention.

A useful test is whether you could point to the detail in a picture. “Friendly” can mean several things. “A relaxed expression with a small, closed-mouth smile” gives you a visible expression to ask for. Google's image-prompting guidance similarly recommends specific visual descriptions instead of broad labels.

You can leave other details open. You do not need to prescribe every eyelash or decide the exact shape of every feature. Choose what matters to your idea, and leave room to like something you had not fully imagined.

Write one description you can actually use

For this example, Mara is 32. Here is a complete starting description:

A fictional adult woman with an oval face, medium brown skin, brown eyes and full eyebrows. She has dark brown curly hair in a bob ending at her jaw, with her face clearly visible. She has a medium build and a relaxed expression with a small, closed-mouth smile. She wears a plain slate-blue shirt, dark straight-leg trousers and simple white trainers. Keep the outfit unbranded and the appearance photographic.

The first two sentences describe the face and hair. The next establishes the build and expression. The last two describe her clothes and ask for an image that looks like a photograph. Each part supplies something you can look for in the result.

Notice what happened to “stylish and approachable.” We turned it into choices: a simple coordinated outfit and a relaxed expression. Those choices give you something visible to compare with the result.

For your own influencer, change the features and clothes that matter to you. Keep the description about one appearance. A sentence asking for both a short bob and long flowing hair creates a decision the generator has to resolve for you.

Enter the description in Synthetic Actor

In Synthetic Actor, select Create New Character from the influencer list (or Create Your First Character if the list is empty), then choose Quick. This route lets you create the initial appearance without going through the longer profile setup. Some controls use the word “Character”; that is the influencer you are creating.

First, fill in the basic details. For our fictional example, use:

These fields need values before you can continue. Choose the location and language for your own concept; describe the intended physical appearance explicitly rather than expecting a country name to define it.

Select Continue, then Generate Character. Set Gender to Female and Age to 32 for Mara, and paste the description into Character Description. If you use a different example, make the age and gender controls agree with your description.

Select Generate Character Reference when you are ready. Generating and regenerating use credits, so allow for another attempt if you want to revise the result. This step requests front, back and side views together in a reference image: a picture that will guide your influencer's appearance in later image creation.

Decide whether this could be your influencer

Before changing anything, look at the overall result. Is this an appearance you want to keep using? A different face from the one you vaguely imagined is not automatically a failure. At this point you are choosing the first face, and you may like the proposal.

Then compare it with the details you deliberately chose. For Mara, look at the face shape, eyebrows, hair length and build. Where the image shows several views, check whether they appear to belong to the same person. Also look for obvious problems such as a distorted face, mismatched limbs or clothing merging into the body.

Separate a preference from a problem. An unexpected but appealing nose might be something you keep. A bob that reaches the shoulders when you wanted it at the jaw is a mismatch you can name and address. A malformed hand is a reason to reconsider the candidate, even if you like the hairstyle.

You are ready to keep the result when the appearance feels right, the chosen features are present and the visible views give you a coherent starting reference. There is no need to keep generating simply because an unplanned detail could be different.

Revise one clear mismatch

To see how a revision works, imagine Mara's first result has the intended general appearance, but the hair falls onto her shoulders. The useful correction is more precise hair wording, rather than a longer list of beauty adjectives.

In the description, replace the hair sentence with:

She has dark brown curly hair cut into a short bob, with the lower edge level with her jawline and her neck visible below it. Keep the hair away from her eyes.

Use Download first if you want to keep a copy of the current result: regenerating replaces the current reference. Then leave the rest of the description unchanged and select Regenerate. You are asking for a new candidate, so the face and other details may change too. Review the whole new image, not just whether the hair is shorter.

If you already like a candidate enough that preserving its exact face matters more than exploring another look, pause before regenerating. This description step is for proposing an appearance. Later work can use the selected image as a reference; it still requires checking for consistency.

Save the look you want to build on

When you are happy with the reference, select Looks Good!. The next step is Character Thumbnail, the small image used to represent the influencer in the app. You can generate or upload one, or select Skip to leave it for later.

On the final review screen, choose Approve & Create to save the influencer. Wait for saving to finish; if the app reports a save problem, follow its retry guidance before treating setup as complete.

For Mara, the decision is now concrete: keep an appearance with the face, short curly hair and simple style you want to build on. For your own influencer, make that same keep-or-revise decision and save the chosen result. Then use the reference for one everyday scene, such as the worked café-photo example, so the first look becomes an image with something happening in it.
